The Sacramento Educational Cable Consortium (SECC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for K-12 teachers and students across the greater Sacramento region. Founded in 1985, SECC began by broadcasting educational content weekly on a single channel. Today, it operates 24/7 on two channels, Comcast 15 & 21 reaching approximately 300,000 cable subscribers and 400 educational institutions. Through various partnerships with area school districts and national content providers, SECC produces and distributes educational content to learners of all ages. We support hundreds of teachers and thousands of students throughout Sacramento County ensuring the next generation of content creators, film makers, story tellers and journalists will have the equipment and training they need to put them on the path of success.
