The Sacramento Native American Health Center (SNAHC) is a non-profit 501c3 (Federal Tax ID #20-4287737) Federally Qualified Health Center serving Sacramento County since 2006. As a primary care facility, we offer medical, dental, behavioral health, vision, traditional medicine, and community health programs. SNAHC is committed to enhancing quality of life by providing a culturally competent, holistic, and patient-centered continuum of care. There are no tribal or ethnic requirements to receive care here. The clinic envisions a vibrant community built upon a strong foundation of cultures and traditions, where healthy lifestyles include the balance of mind, body, and spirit – a restored legacy of well individuals and families.
At SNAHC, we believe access to care shouldn’t be complicated or out of reach. We are committed to making it possible for individuals and families in our community to receive quality, compassionate healthcare. With two clinic locations, in Midtown and South Sacramento, and a school-based health center located at Grant Union High School, SNAHC serves thousands of individuals and families each year across the Sacramento region. Many of our patients face significant barriers, including economic hardship, housing instability, and systemic inequities that make accessing consistent care difficult. In response, SNAHC works every day to remove those barriers and ensure healthcare remains accessible to all.
Our integrated model of care and whole-person approach allows us to meet patients where they are and support not only their physical health, but also their emotional, spiritual, and cultural well-being. Beyond clinical services, our Healing Ways and Community Health programs play a vital role in strengthening connection and supporting long-term wellness for our community. Our team also connects patients to critical community resources such as insurance enrollment, housing support, and social services—ensuring that care extends beyond our clinic walls and into the community.
