Placer Artists Tour provides local artists exposure to the public and to each other, creating relationships and enriching cultural vitality.
We are dedicated to cultivating creativity and making art accessible so everyone will flourish and grow.

We have two special opportunities for Big Day of Giving Donors: Become a Friend of the Tour with your $100 donation, and/or support New & Emerging Artists by donating to the Joanne K. Neft fund, which provides fee discounts and mentoring to artists new to the tour each year.
ABOUT PLACER ARTISTS TOUR
♦ The 2025 Placer Artists Tour takes place Friday-Sunday November 7-9 and Nov. 14-16.
♦ We actively partner with other organizations including Auburn Symphony, Placer Land Trust, Auburn Arts Commission and Placer Wine and Ale Trail.
♦ Celebrating 32 years in 2025 and our 5th year as an independent organization.
♦ Beginning our 3rd year as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
♦ The 2024 Tour offered 120 participating visual artists, 20 Galleries and Art Schools and 20 musicians in 78 locations throughout Placer County.

For over 32 years, Placer Artists Tour has given local artists exposure to the public and to each other, creating enduring relationships and enriching cultural vitality.
Your donation demonstrates your support of the Tour and allows us to continue to expand our audience in our community and beyond.
Over the last five years we have partnered with other organizations to extend the reach of our programs, including Symphony and Art in the Park with the Auburn Symphony, and Natural Wonders, bringing plein air artists and photographers to Placer Land Trust’s preserves followed by an exhibit of their resulting work.
Thanks to a generous donation in 2023, the Joanne K. Neft New and Emerging Artists Fund was established. This program allows us to provide mentoring, professional development and fee reduction for artists new to the Tour each year.
We have furthered our emphasis on arts education. We added Art Schools to the Tour four years ago, as they are preparing future generations of artists. Our online Arts Directory lists Tour artists who teach children and adults.

Cultural equity
Placer Artists Tour, board and staff encourage cultural equity and support artists of all backgrounds to join the Tour. Cultural equity is crucial to the future health of arts in our communities. Everyone, including but not limited to those who have been historically under represented, deserves access to a full creative life and an opportunity to share with the public on the Placer Artists Tour.
