Peachy Day Farms Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue based in Herald, California, dedicated to saving dogs who have been abandoned, neglected, or left with nowhere else to go. We specialize in helping scared, shut-down dogs and mommas with puppies—giving them a safe place to decompress, heal, and learn what love feels like.

Located on 20 acres, our rescue provides a calm, home-based environment where dogs receive the care they deserve: medical treatment, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, training, and most importantly—patience and compassion.

We work closely with shelters and other rescues to pull dogs in need and create space for the next life waiting to be saved.

In our first year (2024) we saved 37 dogs and of which found forever homes for 26.  In our second year (2025) we saved 128 dogs have found amazing homes for 122.

Rescue dogs are at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to being their voice when they don’t have one.

Every donation made on Big Day of Giving directly supports food, medical care, supplies, and the daily costs of rescuing and rehabilitating dogs. Your support helps us turn fear into trust and give each dog a second chance at a forever home.

Together, we can create more peachy days for dogs who need them most. 🐾💛

Mission

At Peachy Day Farms Rescue, our mission is to be the voice for dogs who have none. We are committed to rescuing dogs who are abandoned, neglected, abused, overlooked, or left behind—especially those who are scared, shut down, pregnant, injured, or simply out of time. We believe every dog deserves safety, dignity, and the opportunity to experience love, regardless of breed, age, size, or circumstance.

Through hands-on rescue, rehabilitation, and advocacy, we provide more than shelter—we provide healing. On our 20-acre rescue, dogs are given the time, patience, and compassionate care they need to decompress, rebuild trust, and learn that humans can be kind. We meet each dog where they are, offering medical care, proper nutrition, training, and emotional support so they can move forward into healthy, happy lives.

We are dedicated to responsible rescue practices that include spay and neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and thoughtful placement into loving forever homes. We work collaboratively with shelters, fellow rescues, and our community to reduce overcrowding, save lives, and create space for the next dog in need.

Driven by empathy and guided by integrity, Peachy Day Farms Rescue exists to change outcomes, rewrite stories, and create a future where no dog is forgotten. Every life we save is a promise kept—and with the support of our community on Big Day of Giving, we can continue turning fear into hope and giving more dogs the peachy days they deserve.

Needs

1) Low cost spay/neuters and vaccinations for all rescues.

2) Low cost medical emergency vet to ensure our rescues get the proper and best care.
