The Orangevale-Fair Oaks Community Foundation exists to create opportunities to give and serve in Orangevale and Fair Oaks, creating a community where everyone can flourish.

We have five major programs that we support in order to reach our mission.

  • The Orangevale-Fair Oaks Food Bank served over 47,000 people last year with healthy food distributions four days a week. This included residents from Orangevale, Fair Oaks and Citrus Heights.
  • The Food Bank Farm is a one-acre farm that harvested over 30,000 lbs. of fresh, grown produce last year. This produce is mainly distributed to those in need through our Food Bank distributions and is also available as a seasonal subscription box.
  • Fair Oaks and Orangevale HART is a homeless outreach program that strives to encourage those experiencing homelessness to take the next best step through a weekly shower program, meal distributions and through the use of a navigator that is able to assist them with legal needs.
  • Big Day of Service is an annual organized day of service where over 800 people come together to complete 70 or more service projects throughout Orangevale, Fair Oaks and Citrus Heights.
  • The Teen Council of Orangevale and Fair Oaks is a group of 60+ active teens who plan and host safe and fun family friendly events, and service projects. Projects like the Teens Helping Teens Supply Closets at our local high schools provide support for their peers.
