Our mission is to preserve, chronicle, educate and promote the history of Orangevale, California.  In July 2023, we opened the Orangevale History Museum to share with the area community: Open hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays from 12pm-4pm.  The older residents have been interviewed and their videos are on our YouTube channel.  Our monthly meeting presentations are recorded and also placed on our YouTube channel.  We have a research History Detectives Team, an archive History Harvesters Team, and a growing Facebook and Instagram following.

Orangevale History Project (OHP) is a group of community volunteers who desire to document and preserve Orangevale's stories. Orangevale is a community in Northeast Sacramento County, California, USA. We hope to continue to capture the people and history that make our community unique

The new Orangevale History Museum fulfills part of the purpose of OHP which is to preserve, chronicle and promote the history of Orangevale, California, and educate the community thereof.
