At Mothers Against Drunk Driving, we’re focused on one goal: ending impaired driving for good. Since our founding, we've served as a lifeline for thousands of victims and survivors, and drunk driving fatalities have been cut in half — but we refuse to stop there. Together, we can end this 100% preventable crime.

Our impact in the Sacramento region in 2024: 

  • Spoke to over 3,000 youth with our Power of Youth program
  • Distributed close to ½ million pieces of materials
  • 10 DUI checkpoints
  • 65 victim stories shared
  • 270 victims provided with more than 1800 services.

Mission

The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is to end drunk and drugged driving, support victims, and prevent underage drinking.
