Filling Critical Gaps for Cats Who Have Nowhere Else to Go

Mission Meow was founded after witnessing critical gaps in the animal welfare system — where fragile, at-risk, and medically vulnerable cats were falling through with no safety net.

Without our intervention, these cats would have nowhere to go, no chance for life. We step in for those at highest risk of euthanasia—including neonates, seniors, blindness, paralysis, and other medically fragile or chronic conditions.

Through our foster-based care model, close medical oversight, and patient socialization, these cats are given the time and support they need to stabilize, recover, and ultimately find loving homes. While we work toward thoughtful adoptions whenever possible, some cats require lifelong care. For those individuals, Mission Meow remains their safe haven—providing ongoing support, comfort, and safety for the rest of their lives.

We are supported by private donations. This independence gives us the freedom to act quickly and compassionately- rescuing medically complex or urgent cases without the red tape or limitations that exceed the scope of traditional shelters.

We provide both immediate lifesaving care and long-term, prevention-focused solutions such targeted spay/neuter and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) initiatives to address the root cause of overpopulation. Every cat spayed or neutered prevents countless kittens from being born into hardship.

Beyond rescue, Mission Meow advocates for humane education, supports community cats through proactive Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) initiatives, and provides outreach programs that help keep cats with the families who love them, therefore reducing the burden on local shelters.

Why Your Support Matters Now

Mission Meow is growing — because the need is growing.

We have the fosters.
We have the experience.
We have the systems in place to save more lives.

What we don’t have is the funding to say “yes” to all of them.

Every day, we’re forced to make impossible decisions — not because we lack the ability, but because we lack the resources.

Join Us

This is your invitation to be part of something that is actively expanding and saving lives in real time.

When you give, you’re not just supporting a rescue —
you’re directly increasing the number of cats we can say yes to.

More funding = more lives saved. It’s that simple.

The Mission Meow Difference

• Foster-based care in loving homes
• Prevention through targeted TNR programs
• Rescue of fragile neonatal kittens and medically complex cats
• Volunteer-driven impact focused entirely on lifesaving care

What Your Gift Can Do

• $50 — vaccines and parasite treatment for a rescued kitten
• $100 — spay/neuter surgery preventing dozens of kittens
• $500 — emergency veterinary care for a vulnerable rescue cat

Cats like Millie — a paralyzed kitten rescued from a steel mill — receive specialized care and the chance to live full lives because supporters make this work possible.

Millie was found injured in a steel mill, paralyzed in her  back legs and unable to control her bladder. Millie received  a comprehensive medical workup and concluded she had nerve damage and a low chance of full recovery. With physical therapy, Millie regained some usage of her back legs, but remained incontinent.

Because of her ongoing needs of needing her bowels and bladder expressed multiple times a day, it would be challenging to find a home for her.

After months of searching, we found her a perfect forever family who embraced her challenges!

Today, Millie is thriving in a home filled with love, thanks to our supporters!
