What is Love Liberated?

Founded in 2021, Love Liberated is a collective dedicated to the intersection of sexual well-being, QTBIPOC (Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, People of Color). Our focus encompasses workshops, community events, healing spaces, and sexual health resources tailored for individuals in the Sacramento community.

When We Say Sexual Liberation, This is What We Mean

The process of liberating all bodies, sexualities, and relationships from the rigid structures that oppress access to our authentic selves. Sexual liberation is crucial for QTBIPOC because we have historically been subjected to oppression and discrimination based on our sexual orientation, gender identity, and race. The intersection of these identities creates unique challenges and experiences often overlooked or ignored in mainstream conversations about sexuality. We have been subjected to laws, policies, and cultural norms that have sought to control and stigmatize our sexuality.

What We Do

In the realm of Love Liberated, creativity, education, and healing converge to create a space where our QTBIPOC community can flourish.

We offer in-person and online presence of workshops, community events, healing spaces, and sexual health resources to individuals in the Sacramento community.

We begin by encouraging creativity through workshops. With creativity, we enhance play and expression, expanding our minds to move past the suppression of our liberation and desires.

When educating the community, create open spaces to learn about different aspects of self through local resources, educational workshops, and sexual identity.

To promote healing, we provide spaces to process intergenerational trauma and shame, through therapeutic practices such as healing circles, somatic therapy, trauma-informed yoga, and more.

Through these pillars, Love Liberated empowers individuals to explore and embrace sexual freedom, authenticity, healing, and self-understanding.
