$20,000 Goal

Ethan and his big brother, Dylan, started their charity work at a very young age. Ethan was only 7 years old when he came up with the idea of selling Ethan’s Legenade (Legendary Lemonade) at community events and donating half their profits to local charities. Since 2016, they’ve become familiar faces at the Giant Pumpkin Festival selling Legenade, as well as other events in Elk Grove and Sacramento. Their charity work has grown bigger each year, as well as their desire to help more kids. In February of 2019, they became an official nonprofit, Legenade Childrens Fund.

In January 2020, their hard work was acknowledged at the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce Recognition Gala, where they received an award for "Rookie Business of the Year". A great honor for Elk Grove’s youngest entrepreneurs.

Mission

Their mission is to “help kids become legendary”, through educational and enrichment programs for gifted and underprivileged kids in the US and in the Philippines.

Their programs include a "Back to School Program" that provides backpacks and school supplies to kids. They also have a "Future Legends Scholarship" to help gifted kids stay in school and graduate. "Color the World Project" is a program wherein they partner with local restaurants like BJ’s, Chili’s, Apple Bee’s, and Mikuni’s. They collect barely used kids' menu crayons and ship them to kids in the Philippines who can’t afford crayons. Crayons that would normally end up in the trash are now helping hundreds of kids in many villages. During the pandemic, brand new crayons are sent to kids instead. Ethan and Dylan are also working with local schools to help keep "STEAM Programs" going by providing funds to help with books, materials and supplies needed. Through various "Community Outreach Programs", Ethan and Dylan are able to provide food, clothing, toys and other basic supplies to kids and their families.

All donations and proceeds from their beverage sales will go directly to serve these programs.

Needs

Monetary or gift card donations help us provide what kids need the most - food, clothes, school supplies and other basic needs.

Sponsors for our Future Legends Scholarship. Generous individuals who can sponsor a student for $100 per school year.

Mentors and Investors who can help us develop ways to fund our programs in a self-sufficient way.

One of our goals is to be able to fund our programs from sales of our Legenade beverage, in addition to donations. We need help in making connections with people or other companies in the beverage industry. People who can help us get our Legenade into grocery stores, markets and events.
