Leaps & Bounds Rabbit Rescue is a small, all volunteer run organization dedicated to the proper care, housing, and rescue of domestic rabbits! We have been in the business of rescuing rabbits since 2008 and operate out of the Petco on Douglas Blvd. in Roseville.
Rabbits are the third most adopted animal (after dogs and cats), but also the third most surrendered. We work closely with area shelters and most often pull rabbits out due to overcrowding to save them from being euthanized. No rabbit is ever euthanized for space or aggression in our care.
All funds raised go directly to the care and feeding of our many sweet bunnies, as they will stay in our loving care until a proper adoptive home is found.
Since 2008 our small organization has rescued nearly 1000 rabbits! We have adoption events every Saturday, 50 weeks a year. We are committed to providing information about the care, feeding, and housing of indoor rabbits, regardless if they were adopted from us or not. To us, every rabbit is special and deserves proper care and a loving home!
Leaps & Bounds Rabbit Rescue Inc. rescues, rehabilitates, and adopts out rabbits who were previously unwanted, in danger of being euthanized, or aggressive. Rabbits are provided with food, proper vet care, and rehabilitation if necessary. Rabbits remain in our care until an appropriate and loving home is found, regardless of how long it takes. LBRR also educates the local community regarding the proper care, housing, and feeding of domestic indoor rabbits.
Funds are needed to provide proper vet care and to feed our many domestic rabbits in need of homes.
