$20,000 Goal

Women for Wolves is a women-led nonprofit advancing ethical wildlife conservation and coexistence in the United States. Our work centers on education, consercation, and sanctuary; combining science-based coexistence education, policy advocacy for wildlife protection, and lifelong care for displaced wolf-dogs. Grounded in partnerships with youth, women, & indigenous groups and a commitment to compassionate, non-lethal conservation, we work to shift public perception and build systems where wildlife and people can thrive.

For this Big Day of Giving, we’re raising funds to support urgent veterinary care for rescued wolf-dogs and to expand our coexistence education efforts for wild wolves and California wildlife.

Giving Activity

Mission

To advance ethical coexistence between people, wolves and wildlife through education, advocacy, and rescue.

Needs

Women for Wolves needs support to provide veterinary care and lifelong sanctuary for rescued wolf-dogs, expand coexistence education for communities living with wildlife, and advance conservation through research and partnerships.

Donations directly fund medical care for rescued wolf-dogs, science-based education and outreach, and a growing research consortium and partnerships dedicated to ethical wolf conservation and coexistence.

Equity Statement

Women for Wolves is committed to equity, inclusion, and justice in conservation. At the core of our work, we center women-led leadership and build meaningful partnerships with Indigenous communities, including our collaboration with the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians on water and wildlife stewardship. We believe ethical conservation must be rooted in respect, reciprocity, and coexistence, and that inclusive, community-driven solutions are the only path forward to protecting both people and wildlife.
