Jake's Journey Home is an all-volunteer nonprofit Community Assist Center and mobile outreach entity working with the Folsom, Orangevale, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, and outlying communities providing in center-navigational services for our unhoused and at-risk Veterans and community members. Some of the services provided:
- alcohol/drug services, rehabilitation, inpatient
- mental health services,
- general humanitarian assistance and referrals as needed
- disability filing and social security benefits
- veteran’s benefits and DD214 application
- Engage the local faith-based services for spiritual help.
- Seeking out much needed medical help.
- Provide assistance with Court filings and Criminal Record Expungements
- Basic Needs (DMV voucher, Social Security Cards, MediCal, DentiCal), clothing, phones, EBT
- Provide donations to other nonprofits at Veteran Stand Downs
- Work hand in hand with local nonprofits to provide a full circle of inclusive services
- Assist the underrepresented, fragile, and special needs persons in all above areas.
