Appreciation

Iranian-American Cultural & Educational Center (IACEC) is a not-for-profit public benefit corporation in the greater Sacramento, California region. IACEC provides a platform for professionals, entrepreneurs, and small business owners in the Persian-speaking community to become familiar with and access locally available resources, knowledge, and advice to improve their personal and professional lives. We welcome collaboration with other organizations and successful entrepreneurs who can share their experiences, information, and resources to help us achieve our mission.

Mission

To improve civically, through cultural awareness and information exchange, the Iranian American & Farsi/Dari speaking community and importantly, the general American community in the Sacramento Region.

We empower Northern California's Farsi and Dari-speaking migrant communities through cultural celebration and education, nurturing inclusive environments where diversity not only exists but flourishes. With grassroots programs and strategic partnerships, we ensure equitable access to essential local and regional resources vital for unlocking the full potential of migrant communities.

Needs

$ Refugee Household Needs - $25-$50: Help us provide new household items destined for Afghani refugee families moving into our region.

$ Social Services - $50-$100: Helps our Persian-speaking staff uplift families and individuals towards success with their needs in our community through a wide and comprehensive set of bilingual social programs.

$ Road 2 Shine- $100-$300: Helps fund educational opportunities appropriate for the members of our Farsi-speaking communities wanting to gain skills needed to qualify for jobs within the greater society. IACEC also provides classes for developing skills needed for integration into the greater economy, with self-confidence.

$ Holiday Cultural Sponsoring- $500-$1000: Help us promote understanding and knowledge, as well as sponsor celebrations of the Farsi speaking culture with holiday events like Nowruz (first day of spring) and Yalda (winter solstice).

$ Radio Bamdad- $1000-$2500: Help us keep this valuable fun, informative and cultural resource on the air for another 15 years. As the only Farsi speaking radio station in Northern-CA, with more than 30,000 listeners in the Sacramento Region and 1.5 million listeners worldwide, this radio station has impact, but only with your help. Please donate to “your” radio station today.
