A program of the Sacramento Metro Chamber and Foundation, Inspire Giving is dedicated to making a lasting impact across our region by investing in local nonprofits that are creating meaningful change in our communities. Each year, Inspire Giving awards a $10,000 grant to a selected nonprofit organization while also providing donations, and community engagement opportunities throughout the year.
Over the past 14 years, Inspire Giving has proudly supported 14 nonprofits across the greater six-county region—including Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, Yuba, El Dorado, and Placer counties—through more than $145,000 in direct grants and over $1.6 million in in-kind support and services.
What makes Inspire Giving especially unique is our community-driven selection process. Individuals who donate $25 or more during the first six months of the year are invited to help shape our impact by voting on both the annual priority giving area and the nonprofit finalists for the following year’s grant cycle.
In addition to financial support, Inspire Giving connects donors directly to the causes they care about through volunteer days and hands-on opportunities to serve alongside fellow community members.
