At Insights Counseling and Healing Center, we provide direct therapy services for individuals, couples, and families, along with educational and collaborative programs designed to strengthen mental, emotional, and behavioral health. Our goal is to help people grow into the best versions of themselves through meaningful support and practical guidance.

People come to Insights facing challenges such as parenting stress, financial strain, disorganization, career uncertainty, or feeling stuck in life. We take time to understand each person’s unique situation, identify contributing factors, and develop structured, sustainable plans that support long-term growth. Support may include direct therapy, workshops, community programs, or a combination of these services.

Insights Counseling and Healing Center is a nonprofit organization serving Sacramento County residents by helping them move out of cycles of instability, struggle, and uncertainty and toward lasting fulfillment. We primarily focus on low-income adults and their families, including those who may be overlooked by traditional services that would benefit greatly from personalized guidance, education, and community-based support.

Mission

Insights Counseling and Healing Center exists to support individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges and move toward lasting stability and fulfillment. Through compassionate therapy, educational programs, and collaborative community support, we help people strengthen their mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being in ways that honor their unique experiences.

We are committed to serving Sacramento County residents with empathy and respect, offering personalized guidance, practical tools, and meaningful opportunities for growth. Our mission is to empower those we serve to heal, build resilience, and create healthier relationships within their families, communities, and future generations.

Needs

For the past four years, Insights Counseling and Healing Center has operated with a small but dedicated team that has made a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families we serve. As the need for accessible mental health support continues to grow, we are working to expand our services and strengthen our capacity to meet that need with care, consistency, and integrity.

To continue our growth and deepen our impact, Insights is seeking support in the following areas:

Outreach

We are expanding our outreach efforts to ensure individuals and families who could benefit from our services know that support is available. Funding and resources allow us to build awareness, connect with underserved communities, and provide clear pathways to care through trusted local partnerships.

Volunteers

Volunteers play a vital role in helping Insights operate effectively and compassionately. Additional support allows us to recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers who assist with programs, events, administrative needs, and community engagement. With more helping hands, our team can focus on delivering high-quality services while maintaining a personal, human-centered approach.

Collaboration

Strong collaboration strengthens outcomes. Insights seek to partner with schools, community organizations, service providers, and local leaders to create a network of support that extends beyond therapy alone. Resources help us build and maintain these partnerships, align services, and create sustainable solutions that benefit individuals, families, and the broader community.

Equity Statement

Insights is committed to providing evidence-based services to individuals, couples, families, or groups regardless of background, identity, or circumstances. We strive to ensure that all clients feel respected, valued, and included, and we actively work to reduce barriers to care and foster a culture of equity and belonging within our practice. Our dedication to equitable treatment extends to our staff and community partnerships, reflecting our belief that diversity and inclusion enhance the healing process and contribute to a healthier society.
