$5,000 Goal

We’re dedicated to creating spaces where individuals affected by the justice system—both youth and adults—can embark on a journey of healing, discover their purpose, and lead lives filled with meaningful service to others. Inside Circle firmly believes that true strength emerges from embracing vulnerability, not resorting to violence. Our experiences have taught us that those who have walked through the shadows of trauma possess a unique power to guide others toward light and recovery.

Giving Activity

Mission

Our mission is to empower system-impacted people to lead lasting change from within by providing support, opportunities and training for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people to heal and serve both themselves and others. Through this work, we aim to nurture healthier individuals, build stronger communities, and foster more compassionate systems, effectively reducing the cycle of re-offense and various forms of violence—be it physical, emotional, or psychological—in our society.

Needs

We recently secured a multi-unit property in Sacramento that will become our new Healing Home — a dignified, healing-centered place for men returning from prison. The Healing Home will provide a true continuum of care, offering supported housing for adults returning from incarceration who have participated in Inside Circle’s prison-based healing circles and demonstrated readiness and commitment to change. In the home, circle will serve as a healing sanctuary and a supported path forward, offering practical hope alongside structured support to help steady people through this critical transition. Most residents will have spent multiple years engaging in circle while incarcerated and will continue this work upon release. Inside Circle staff will maintain a consistent, caring presence in the home, supporting accountability, stability and growth.

INSIDE CIRCLE needs support to help RENOVATE and FURNISH our HEALING HOME.
