Founded in 2022 by Director/Kumu Hula Tanisha Reshke, this group of dancers (halau) provides cultural enrichment and creative awareness through the art of hula.

Our traditional style with a contemporary flair is built on the foundation of the Hula Masters who came before us. The most notable influence of our lineage comes from Kumu Hula Patrick Makuakāne, Director and founder of Nā Lei Hulu I Ka Wēkiu.

Hālau Nā Maka 'ōlali hosts its annual luau in the Spring in Roseville, CA.  The halau also performs throughout the Placer County area.
