Our goal to raise funds to give our community and neighbors the best holiday event of 2025 The teamwork and diversity of partnerships with the Florin Road Foundation are key components to securing future events.
The Florin Road Foundation (501c3) is dedicated to supporting community programs that extend beyond the mission of the Florin Road Partnership (501c6). Governed by an elected board of directors and managed by the Florin Road Partnership staff, the Foundation operates as a 501c3 non-profit organization.
Our needs are for financial and economic support to continue The Rink on Florin at WinterFest. In 2024, for our first season, our ice-skating rink hosted free community skate days, private skating events for local community groups such as the Airport Little League, District 5 Councilmember Caity Maple, Rose Family Creative Empowerment, and Luther Burbank High School. Our regular skating scheduled days saw over 400 skaters from ages 2-60+ years old. This event demonstrated a need for our community to have a safe space to come and play right within our own neighborhood.
