The Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center provides support and services to victims of domestic violence, elder abuse, human trafficking, sexual assault and child abuse. The Family Justice Center model has been named a best practice by the United States Department of Justice for the innovative ways FJCs bring victim services under one roof through collaborative partnerships with public, private, and community-based organizations. Since 2016, the SRFJC has had over 32,000 visits from victims of violence and abuse.

As a victim tries to escape a violent environment, they often have a variety of needs that range from medical care, safe shelter, legal assistance, financial assistance, and mental health counseling for themselves and their children. When they go through this process alone, it is estimated that a victim may need to visit as many as 20 public, private and community-based organizations to access the complete array of services they need. During such times of upheaval, victims don’t generally have the knowledge or ability to navigate these needed services on their own. The FJC becomes their “one stop” center that brings all the needed services to the victim - and does the navigation for them.

The Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center is "one safe place" where victims receive life-changing services and trauma-informed care, and where our community partnerships help make this a mission possible.

Mission

The Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center weaves together high-quality committed partners in a safe, collaborative center to provide integrated services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, human trafficking, elder and child abuse. The SRFJC brings victim services under one roof, thereby lessening the trauma for those who have already been victimized because they are less likely to have to repeat their story multiple times. We are committed to collaboration because this work requires public and private agencies, businesses, law enforcement, health systems and others working together to tackle these issues. It is also the best use of community resources to collaborate and complement, not compete.

Needs

$25,000 for Youth Programming - Camp HOPE and CATCH Leadership Academy.

The children who experience or witness domestic violence and trauma deserve care and environments that allow them to feel safe, seen, heard and encouraged. Each camper experiences a respite from worry while they join us for Camp HOPE. But we don't solely offer a summertime excursion... we also bring them back monthly for a year to experience a continued support and encouragement.

Your Support Makes Today Brighter, and Infuses Hope in Their Tomorrows.

$25,000 --- Hope MD Telehealth Program

This is the right year and time to bring HopeMD to Sacramento County and our Center. Join us with a gift!

As the barriers to accessing healthcare build, an investment in telehealth for our clients is being launched to ensure that survivors and their children receive trauma-informed care in a safe environment that ensures they receive expeditious care. This program is staffed by our caring, experienced and dedicated staff and in partnership with another agency to ensure maximum results while leveraging resources. The first program of its kind in Sacramento County, our HopeMD program aims to eliminate barriers to vital healthcare, while reducing emergency wait times and offering secure telehealth services to survivors of interpersonal violence. A donation today will help bring care to some of our community's most vulnerable members.

$25,000 is sought to support HopeMD Telehealth.

If you’re making your donation offline (through check or a donor advised fund), please let us know so that we can add it to our donation tally!
