ABOUT US

Fitrah, derived from the Arabic language, means "a person's natural disposition at birth.

Our organization's vision is straightforward: we believe that every young person, regardless of their race, religion, or gender, is born pure, innocent, and deserving of a future full of opportunities to grow and thrive.

Fitrah is a non-profit social enterprise that supports young adults aging out of the foster-care system or who are court-involved, or homeless. They run an online business where they are paid and given real-world experience, increasing responsibility, and one-on-one mentoring. This approach empowers the youth, helping them gain confidence and skills needed to envision and enact positive goals for a successful future. The program helps kids break through barriers and become contributing members of the community.
