$50,000 Goal

At FCA Greater Sacramento, we believe the influence of a coach is unmatched and the potential of a student-athlete is limitless. We exist to serve the "heart and soul" of the sports community across Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, and Yolo counties. By stepping out of the bleachers and onto the field, we meet young people exactly where they are, in the heat of competition and the routine of daily practice. Our mission is to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes, fostering an environment where integrity, serving, teamwork, and excellence aren't just slogans on a social media post, but values lived out on every field, gym, and household in our region.

Our work is deeply personal because we know that behind every jersey is a young person navigating the pressures of modern life. Through our campus "Huddles," coach mentorship programs, life-changing summer camps, and youth sports leagues we provide a consistent, supportive community that anchors student-athletes in faith and character. Whether we are providing a scholarship for a student to attend camp for the first time or equipping a coach to lead with heart, FCA Greater Sacramento is dedicated to building more than just better athletes, we are investing in the next generation of local leaders, parents, and neighbors who will lead our community with purpose and grace.

Giving Activity

Mission

To lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

Vision: To see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.

In Greater Sacramento, we pursue this vision by building a community where every local coach and student-athlete, from the campus huddle to the recreational and competitive league, experiences the life-changing power of the Gospel.

Needs

At FCA Greater Sacramento, our 2026 "Proven" initiative is focused on expanding the life-changing impact of our programs across the four-county capital region. Our greatest need is to ensure that no student-athlete is sidelined by financial barriers, whether on the field or at camp. By providing Student-Athlete Scholarships ($250–$500), your gift offers a "turning point" for a young person to receive elite training at an FCA Summer Camp or to participate in our FCA Sports Leagues. These leagues provide a structured, competitive environment where local youth can develop their skills under the guidance of coaches who prioritize character and faith as much as the scoreboard. Simultaneously, we are working to Equip our Campus Huddles ($100–$250) by providing the Bibles and resources needed for student-leaders to launch a positive, faith-filled culture directly within their own school’s athletic departments.

Beyond the student, we recognize that the most influential person in a young athlete’s life is their coach. We are committed to Investing in Coach Mentorship through specialized "3D Coaching" workshops and resources for our league and school coaches. These funds allow us to mentor local leaders to lead with integrity and a "service-first" mindset, effectively reaching hundreds of athletes through the transformation of a single coach. Whether you are helping us reach our goal of sending 50 kids to camp or allow them to participate in a local FCA Sports league, sponsoring a full team’s registration in our leagues, or helping us launch a new campus huddle, your support provides the proven tools necessary to empower the next generation of leaders in our community.

Equity Statement

At FCA Greater Sacramento, we believe that all men and women are created in the image of God and are of equal value and worth to Him. Our commitment to 'Every' means reaching every coach and athlete across the Sacramento region, regardless of race, nationality, gender, physical ability, or socioeconomic background. We believe that all prejudice and bias are contrary to the Gospel, and as disciples of Jesus Christ, it is our responsibility to love our neighbors as ourselves. We are dedicated to serving underserved communities and ensuring that every student-athlete in our four-county area has the opportunity to experience the community of a 'Huddle,' the mentorship of a coach, and the life-changing power of the Gospel.
