Established in 1963, the Friends of the Clarksburg Public Library (FOCL) raised funds to purchase a residence in Clarksburg and transform it into a public library for the community.  Yolo County staffs and manages the library and FOCL provides funding to support library activities and collections.  The Clarksburg Library has been serving the Clarksburg Community in Yolo County for 58 years.  This library has a big impact in the Clarksburg community as a vital source of information sharing and access, children’s and community programs, employment searches, and activity center.     

Mission

Friends of the Clarksburg Library ensures a place for learning, enrichment, and civic and community engagement in the rural community of Clarksburg.

Needs

Additional books, media, and technology for library collections.

FOCL and Library programming and collections.

Landscaping to continue beautification and maintenance of the library grounds.

Library building maintenance and improvements.

To provide web support for activity room booking, donation collection, and FOCL activities.
