The Explorit Science Center has been a community legacy for over 40 years, providing our young learners with hands-on science programming to ignite and foster curiosity about science and nature.
After a year to pause and reimagine how we can best serve our community, we are excited to share that we are planning to reopen soon.
We are in the process of hiring a new executive director who will help us transform Explorit into a STEAM Education Hub - a place where community organizations and our young learners can gather in a "third space" to practice inquiry. We plan to offer new programming and student-driven inquiry opportunities for 7-12th graders as well as our traditional camps for younger learners.
We need your support more now than ever, as we rebuild - stronger, more connected to our community, and ready to inspire a new generation of curiosity driven thinkers across the Sacramento Region.
