Equity Statement

Our Commitment to Equity

Escape Velocity Resources Foundation is rooted in the belief that every young person deserves access to opportunity, support, and a safe environment to grow regardless of income, background, or circumstance.

We intentionally serve communities that have historically faced barriers to educational resources, mental health support, and enrichment opportunities. Many of the youth and families we work with navigate systemic inequities that impact academic achievement, wellness, and long-term stability.

Equity is embedded in how we design and deliver our programs:

Access: We offer low-cost or free programming and remove barriers such as participation fees.

Representation: Our programs reflect the voices, cultures, and lived experiences of the youth and families we serve.

Voice & Leadership: Youth are not just participants they are leaders, ambassadors, and co-creators of programming.

Whole-Family Approach: We support both youth and caregivers, recognizing that thriving families build thriving communities.

Community Partnerships: We collaborate with local organizations, businesses and leaders to ensure resources reach those who need them most.

We are committed to continuous learning, listening, and accountability as we work to create equitable pathways for literacy, wellness, leadership, and lifelong success.
