EDC Cancer Warriors supports cancer patients, their families and the organizations that serve them in the Western Slope of El Dorado County. We are a group of cancer warriors who are dedicated to the fight against cancer in our area. We are passionate and committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by this devastating disease.
Our premier fundraising event is our Annual Bowling event in October. Our cancer warrior Melissa was instrumental in helping us fundraise and gather donations during our first 2 years of our event. We lost her in December of 2024 and were able to create a last minute fundraiser to support her family. We continue to honor cancer patients and their families at this event.
Our goal is to expand our reach in the community by supporting local organizations that support cancer patients and their families. Images of Hope El Dorado is one of the local organizations that offers no-cost pilates and art classes to cancer patients and survivors. Last year we were able support them through our fundraising events. We are currently working on creating fundraising for pediatric cancer.
