Drive4Impact Foundation

A nonprofit organization

The DRIVE4IMPACT Foundation is intently focused on bringing recognition of the vulnerabilities of our youth and children to prevent them from falling victim to predators whether they are professionals or someone taking advantage of an opportunity or vulnerability. Even friends or family can be part of a scheme. All ages, all ethnicities and both males and females are potential victims of human trafficking. Children and youth are especially susceptible to being exploited and even disappearing. Virtually, all of Sacramento and surrounding communities can be impacted.

Human Trafficking is a disastrous hidden crisis in Sacramento and surrounding areas. Alarmingly, the Sacramento Region is ranked 4th in the nation for human trafficking. This is largely due to multiple highways, freeways, and bus routes converging in Sacramento.

Educational awareness symposiums are DRIVE4IMPACT Foundation’s primary outreach covering many facets of prevention, intervention, and responding to victims. Startling statistics are shared that bring reality to the damage being done to our local area. Law enforcement detectives present the dangers of how perpetrators exploit online access to vulnerable sectors and how parents and guardians can read signs of a child being groomed or exploited. Survivors share their stories and suggest how others may avoid situations that expose them to risks. Intervention is critical knowing that danger thrives on secrecy and darkness corners victims. The Foundation seeks to present symposiums once a month in 2026-27 throughout Sacramento County and neighboring communities.

DRIVE4IMPACT works tirelessly to support law enforcement agencies, like the Sacramento County’s Sheriff’s Office, in their pursuit of justice against those engaged in human trafficking. Operations have led to over 100 arrests and the rescue of multiple juveniles. Unfortunately, perpetrators are well-organized, funded, and have extensive resources and networks. They are often related to drugs and gangs. The High-Tech Crimes Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has a wealth of knowledge and experience with online child safety and battling child and youth sexual exploitation.

Bringing anti-trafficking awareness, education and prevention tactics to schools is another strategy for short circuiting predators. The Foundation seeks to partner with school administrations with proposals and materials to bring awareness and to protect their students.

Funding will also be used to connect victims with services and advocates and even pay for services as possible. Immediate needs for shelter, clothing and food are provided. Advocates focus on listening without judgement and use interview techniques to determine long-term needs such as mental health support.

Mission

The DRIVE4IMPACT Foundation’s mission is to support and empower victims of human trafficking and domestic violence. We are committed to building safer and stronger communities in vulnerable areas of Sacramento and surrounding counties through community outreach programs focused on awareness and prevention and intervention. The Foundation is adamant about collaborating with the right resources and entities to ensure as many facets of human trafficking as possible are addressed.
