District 4-C5 Lions Education Fund, Inc. is a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization, incorporated in 1989 by Lions of District 4-C5.  The Foundation's primary mission is to encourage and further positive youth development by helping young people deal with the challenges of our changing world.

The Foundation budget is allocated to youth activities.  With action today, we can mold the future for the betterment of our communities and the world.

The Foundation funds youth oriented activities. With action today, we can mold the future for the betterment of our communities and the world.

Needs

We need financial support. We run a matching grants program for the Lions Clubs of District 4-C5 which extends from Galt to Downieville. Clubs apply for matching funds for a youth geared program that they would like to do. We match up to $500. We also need volunteers volunteers to work our fund raisers. We have an annual Soup and Salad Dinner and Golf Tournament.
