WHO WE ARE
We are the Del Paso Heights Growers’ Alliance, a dedicated coalition on the front lines against a broken, expensive, and unhealthy food system. Our mission goes beyond addressing hunger and malnutrition; we aim to transform our community's relationship with food and the environment. Through regenerative agriculture and ecosystem stewardship, we’re not just planting seeds in the ground – we're sowing the seeds of change for healthier environments and healthier lives.

WHAT WE DO
In the face of systemic food injustices, our work is critical. We produce healthy environments and advance environmental justice by:

  • Implementing regenerative agriculture practices that not only heal the earth but also ensure our community thrives.
  • Educating on the importance of food, agriculture, and health, enabling our community to make informed choices.
  • Providing experiences that connect people with nature, promoting the benefits of Nature Rx.
  • Emphasizing the value of eating seasonally grown food to support local ecosystems and health.
  • Offering culturally and linguistically appropriate services, ensuring we represent and serve disadvantaged communities effectively.

Our initiatives not only educate but empower individuals to advocate for themselves and their environment. By nurturing the land and our community, we address social determinants of health and foster environmental justice. Through our efforts, we envision a future where access to nutritious, locally grown food is not a privilege but a right for all.
