Giving Activity

Mission

Defenna Foundation’s mission is to defend, support, and empower victims and survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking through survivor-centered advocacy, education, and innovative technology that connects individuals to trusted resources, safety, and justice.

Needs

Defenna Foundation needs community support to continue and expand our work serving victims and survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking. Donations help us provide survivor-centered advocacy, prevention education, and develop technology tools that connect individuals to trusted, confidential resources when they need help most.

Your support also allows us to strengthen our programs, train advocates and volunteers, and build sustainable systems so we can reach more survivors, reduce barriers to support, and create long-term impact in underserved communities. Every contribution helps us ensure survivors are believed, supported, and never alone.

Equity Statement

Defenna Foundation is committed to equity, inclusion, and survivor-centered support. We recognize that sexual violence and human trafficking disproportionately impact marginalized and underserved communities, including immigrants, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and those facing language, economic, or systemic barriers.

We strive to create accessible, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed services that honor each survivor’s lived experience. Our work centers dignity, respect, and choice, while actively addressing barriers to safety, healing, and justice. Through community partnerships, education, and inclusive technology, Defenna Foundation works to advance equity and ensure all survivors have access to support—regardless of background, identity, or circumstance.
