$10,000 Goal

No survivor should have to survive trauma alone.

Defenna Foundation is a survivor-led, survivor-centered nonprofit working at the intersection of advocacy and technology. We exist to remove the barriers that prevent victims and survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking from accessing safe, trusted support.

Too often, survivors are forced to repeat their story over and over just to receive help. They face confusion, retraumatization, and gaps in services. Defenna is building a safer system.

Through trauma-informed advocacy, prevention education, and innovative technology, we connect individuals to confidential resources while preserving dignity, choice, and emotional safety.

We are creating a future where survivors are believed, supported, and able to access help without fear.

Your donation today helps us:

β€’ Provide trauma-informed advocacy and survivor navigation

β€’ Expand prevention and safe-love education in our community

β€’ Develop secure, confidential tools that connect survivors to trusted resources

β€’ Identify service gaps through data and community-informed mapping

β€’ Train advocates and volunteers in culturally responsive care

Every contribution strengthens the infrastructure that ensures survivors are believed, protected, and never left navigating alone.

Equity Statement

Defenna Foundation is committed to equity and survivor-centered care. Sexual violence and human trafficking disproportionately impact marginalized communities, including immigrants, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those facing language or economic barriers.

We prioritize culturally responsive, trauma-informed support that honors each survivor’s lived experience. Our work centers dignity, access, and choice β€” ensuring that support is available regardless of identity, background, or circumstance.
