The Davis Youth Choir, formed in 2022 by the Davis Community Chorale, serves young treble singers up to ninth grade in the Yolo and Sacramento Region. Offering both an open-membership group and a more advanced auditioned chamber choir, the group learns various genres of music: classical, pop, jazz, Broadway, folk, and learns and shares about diverse cultures through music. While learning healthy vocal habits and musical skills, the children also practice rehearsal and social skills, make friends and have fun!
The Davis Youth Choir serves youth by providing high quality vocal education, opportunities for self-expression, performance, and social interaction through music.
The Davis Youth Choir is in session September - May.

The Davis Youth Choir is comprised of youth from very diverse backgrounds and nationalities. In order to learn about and honor our different cultures, we learn and create relationships with our cultures through learning each other's music, and enjoy presentations about different customs.
We are committed to racial equality not only with our membership demographic but also through the music we create and share with our audiences.
We believe that having an expansive range of members with diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and skills can only enhance our development as a cohesive entity and strengthen our ability to continue to provide music that elevates the spirit.
We actively recruit from all areas and are working to eliminate any identified barriers to membership within our organization. We have a goal of creating a sliding scale payment of dues for those who are financially challenged.
In order to share a diverse program encompassing many ethnicities, we regularly perform works by composers of color and sing in many different languages. We have a goal of creating a sliding scale tuition to welcome children from all economic backgrounds.
