Founded as a choir in 1966, the Davis Madrigals are a long-standing and beloved part of the Davis community. The choir has built a reputation for musical excellence, creative programming, and joyful performance across generations of students.
In 1997, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization was established to support the Madrigalsβ mission by providing financial, organizational, and outreach support. This structure allows the program to expand educational opportunities, fund performances and workshops, and ensure access to high-quality choral experiences for students and the Davis community.
Today, the Madrigals continue to inspire students through rigorous musical training, community engagement, and performances that celebrate both tradition and creativity.
