Davis Chamber of Commerce Foundation

Reviewed by the Sacramento Region Community Foundation

Since its beginning in 1984, the Davis Chamber of Commerce Foundation has been awarding scholarships to graduating local high school students.

Scholarships are given out to students regardless of parental income or GPA. Students that are going to a trade school, career college, community college or four year university are all encouraged to attend. To date, over $25,000 has been awarded.

The Foundation's School Business Partnership committee meets regularly throughout the year to assist local school district (Davis Joint Unified School District - DJUSD) to create a welcome from local businesses to all new DJUSD new hires. Additionally, the committee serves as a bridge for DJUSD staff and local businesses to support the districts career exploration events, internship programs, as well as individual school event activities that require business professionals to assist.

Mission
