Needs
CommuniCare+OLE is relying on community support to help fund our programs and services for our most vulnerable neighbors. We provide family medicine, dental care, counseling, and substance use disorder treatment, serving more people for substance use disorder than any other provider in Yolo County. Our mobile health team brings care directly to farmworkers and unhoused communities, and our outreach workers meet people where they are so that cost, insurance, or circumstance is never a barrier to getting help.
Your donation directly supports programs like:
• **Community Outreach**, which goes beyond health center walls to meet people where they are, in shelters, encampments, farmworker centers, and schools, connecting them with the medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare they need.
• **Smile Savers**, providing in-school oral health education and basic dental services to children, helping prevent costly and irreversible tooth and gum disease in adulthood.
• **Mobile Medicine**, serving unhoused individuals and seasonal agricultural workers through a van that operates 12 hours a week across Davis, Woodland, West Sacramento, and the Capay Valley.
• **Food As Medicine**, offering nutrition education and empowering patients to grow, access, and prepare healthy food through our clinic-based garden as part of chronic disease management and prevention.
• **Perinatal Care**, including comprehensive prenatal and postpartum services, plus free car seats, baby carriers, and baby wraps for new parents.
• **Primary Care for Uninsured Patients**, ensuring that a lack of coverage is never a barrier to essential healthcare.
As new patient visits decline due to fears surrounding gender, orientation, income, and immigration status, your support is more urgent than ever. Every gift, no matter the size, helps connect a vulnerable member of our community with the care they need and deserve.
**In-Kind Donations**
We also gratefully accept donated goods, including new infant car seats (in box) and pregnancy support garments/belly bands (new or gently used) for families in our perinatal program. To arrange a drop-off, contact us at 530-603-7112 or donate@communicareole.org.
**Volunteers**
Since our founding as an all-volunteer organization in 1972, volunteers including healthcare providers, community members, medical residents, interns, and students have been at the heart of our work. To donate your time, reach out to Volunteer@CommuniCareOLE.org.
Thank you for being part of our community. We couldn't do this without you.
