$200,000 Goal

We are the Citrus Heights Community marching band, one of the only programs in the United States to offer free music education to performers of all ages. The CHCMB is composed of roughly 80 members of our community ranging in ages from 7 to 92 years old, including beginning musicians all the way through seasoned musical experts. We perform up to 20 times per year in the greater Sacramento area at parades, community festivals and music competitions.

Giving Activity

Mission

The Citrus Heights Community Marching Band is a FREE, All Ages and Abilities organization intended for music education, activities, and community enrichment.

Needs

CHCMB is building a beautiful performance venue that will be open to the public for music and arts entertainment, right in the heart of Citrus Heights at popular Rusch park. The new amphitheater will be similar in purpose to the amphitheater in Carmichael Park but will be twice the size. Project construction will also include resurfacing and restriping the existing parking lot on the west end of Rusch Park and raising the height of baseball field fencing for public safety.

Equity Statement

CHCMB membership is open to all ages and skill levels. We welcome current and former musicians and individuals to fill auxiliary roles. Membership, uniforms, and instrument use is free!
