Catalyst Community

At Catalyst Community, we know when families have the services and support they need, they can raise competent, capable children. Catalyst Community manages various programs that support and strengthen the communities we serve. A Catalyst community is a strong community.

We support families in many ways:

• Resource and Referral Services - We connect families with necessary childcare. Our expert staff help parents develop a child care plan by offering a free personalized list of child care options that meet their kid's needs. This list can include Title 5 State Preschool and General Child Care, Head Start, Private Childcare Centers, Preschools, Family Child Care Homes, and License-Exempt programs. We also provide resources for parents and guardians such as books, DVDs, educational videos, children's clothing, diapers, equipment, toys and more. 
• Subsidized Childcare Services - Our staff helps eligible families understand and connect with the childcare and resources that they need. Parents have the freedom to choose any public or private licensed, or license exempt child care program that best fits their family’s needs.
• Child and Adult Care Food Program - We ensure kids get the nutritious meals they need to grow strong. Catalyst Community sponsors child care providers and helps children in homes eat nutritious meals. Nutrition education at an early age leads to healthful eating habits that last a lifetime. Catalyst Community reimburses licensed providers for meals and snacks served to kids.
• Parent and Provider Services - We educate caregivers in our community so they can safely and confidently care for youngsters. We provide support, education, and community to parents and childcare providers. Catalyst Community training sessions and classes cover topics from CPR to child nutrition.
