Capital Valley Futbol Club (CVFC) is a nonprofit youth soccer organization serving families across Arden, Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Foothill Farms, and Sacramento. We are dedicated to making soccer accessible, affordable, and meaningful for all children regardless of financial background, experience level, or ability.

Founded in 2020 through the merger of five long-standing local clubs, CVFC has grown into a vibrant home for more than 750 players between the ages of 4 and 18. Our mission is rooted in community and youth development through sport.

At CVFC, soccer is more than just a game. It’s a vehicle for:

  • Building confidence and leadership

  • Encouraging physical and mental well-being

  • Fostering teamwork, resilience, and responsibility

  • Creating a sense of belonging and community pride

To ensure that no child is left on the sidelines, we offer a robust scholarship program providing over $70,000 in financial assistance in 2025 alone to families in need. With your support, we can continue removing barriers and opening doors to opportunity through the power of play.

Needs

Our program supports families across Arden, Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Foothill Farms, and Sacramento where access to extracurricular sports can be limited by financial constraints. CVFC serves over 750 young athletes each year, ranging in age from 4 to 18, in both recreational and competitive soccer.

Scholarships help us provide more than just access to the game. They create pathways to physical activity, positive peer relationships, mentorship, and personal development for youth in underserved areas. In 2025 alone, CVFC has provided over $70,000 in scholarships and the need continues to rise.
