Cancer Champions

Jen Miramontes founded Cancer Champions as a way to help those battling and recovering from cancer treatment. When her mother was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, the doctors told her to drink a well-known “nutrition beverage”, but after one look at the chemical-laden ingredient list, Jen decided to do things her own way.

Unfortunately, there didn’t seem to be any readily available resources for nutrition and fitness advice during cancer treatment. Thus began the process of building Cancer Champions.

Fast forward a decade or so: Jen met Ann Murray Paige at a mutual friend’s barbeque. Instantly bonded by their New England roots, Ann turned to Jen’s expertise as a Certified Cancer Exercise Specialist to help her maximize her treatment regimen as she battled metastatic breast cancer. With the addition of Damian Bramer, Certified Nutrition Consultant, Cancer Champions truly began to take shape.

Today, the program is a non-profit and serves the cancer community nationally. With experts in nutrition, fitness, and mindset, Cancer Champions is tailored specifically to the needs of those battling and recovering from cancer. Welcome to the community!

Mission

The Cancer Champions mission is to build an empowering community where cancer survivors gain physical, mental, and emotional support through our specialized fitness, nutrition, and wellness programs, as well as private, one-on-one coaching.

Needs

Cancer Champions needs funding to be able to provide our top-notch resources to cancer patients in order to help them thrive during and after cancer treatment. The costs of maintaining our website, mobile app, and support team are ongoing and necessary for our basic operations, and are the behind-the-scenes services that support our members on a daily basis.
