For nearly a century, California FFA has been shaping confident leaders, skilled professionals, and engaged citizens through the power of agricultural education. For 98 years, we’ve helped students grow—not just in the classroom, but in leadership, personal development, and career readiness that lasts a lifetime.

Today, more than 108,000 middle and high school students across 373 California FFA chapters are discovering their potential and preparing for meaningful futures in agriculture, science, business, and beyond. As an intra-curricular organization, FFA connects learning to real-world experiences—building the skills students need to succeed in an ever-changing world.

Across every sector of agriculture, the demand for innovative thinkers, problem-solvers, and entrepreneurs has never been greater. California FFA members are ready to meet these challenges—but they can’t do it alone.

By giving to California FFA on Big Day of Giving, you’re investing in the next generation of leaders and helping strengthen our food system, communities, and economy. Together, we can cultivate opportunity, inspire excellence, and shape a brighter future—for agriculture and for California.

Mission

Support Agricultural Leadership, Growth and Career Education

The mission of the California FFA Foundation is to promote, aid, and assist, financially or otherwise, California Association Future Farmers of America to ensure the success of Agricultural Education by preparing tomorrow's agricultural leaders, today.

Needs

Every year, thousands of FFA members across California dedicate countless hours to developing the skills that will shape their future and strengthen the agriculture industry.

Through Career and Leadership Development Events, proficiency and STAR awards, and agriscience research, students apply what they learn in the classroom to real-world situations—developing a practical toolkit of technical skills, leadership ability, and confidence they carry beyond high school.

These experiences also cultivate responsibility, adaptability, discipline, curiosity, and a strong work ethic, all connected through intentional career pathways—including Animal Systems, Plant Systems, Agribusiness, Environmental & Natural Resources, Power & Technical Systems, Food Processing, and Agricultural Education. Together, they help students identify where they fit in agriculture while preparing them with the competencies needed in today’s workforce.

These are more than competitions - they are transformative experiences.

Students step onto college campuses for the first time.

They present in professional settings.

They turn supervised agricultural experiences into real businesses.

These moments don’t happen by chance—they happen because of donors like you. On the Big Day of Giving—just 24 hours to make an impact—your gift will directly support students across these pathways, funding competitions, student recognition, and the hands-on experiences that prepare them to lead.

Providing these opportunities requires meaningful investment, but the return is powerful: a pipeline of skilled, confident, career-ready young leaders for California agriculture.

Will you make your gift on May 7, and ensure more students have access to these life-changing opportunities?

• $50 – Provides a team set of pins for LDE

• $150 – Provides a Silver Bowl for a State Champion Team

• $300 – Provides a scholarship for a State Champion Proficiency or Agriscience winner

• $500 – Supports a pathway-level award area, impacting multiple students

The next generation of agricultural leaders is ready. With your support, they won’t have to wait.

Thank you for your continued belief in the power of agricultural education and the potential of every FFA member.
