California Christmas Hope

Christmas Hope is a non-profit organization with a mission to give the gift of hope to those who need it the most in the greater Sacramento region while preserving the privacy and dignity of the recipients. This organization is a secret, non-denominational, and non-political non-profit organization.  

Christmas Hope partners with a range of locally established non-profits who refer families of the greater Sacramento community to us. Here is the big catch— the families have no idea they are being adopted!  These local families who are in financial need, will be adopted by anonymous donors. With your kind donations, we will be able to provide essential items needed to the family and of course, the toys the children have asked for on their Letters to Santa.

On Christmas Eve, Santa will go to each of their homes and deliver these gifts. When Santa knocks on the front door and the children see the big man in red at their home, it's truly a beautiful moment. There is nothing quite like the shriek of joy from a child. It helps remind them that they are not forgotten, and it brings to life the true spirit of what Christmas really is all about.  Most parents end up in tears and wonder what exactly just happened.

It never gets revealed who referred or adopted them. Only Santa meets the families face to face. No photos or videos are ever taken of the families. This preserves the families' privacy and dignity during their challenging times and reminds them that their community truly cares about them.

As a donor or volunteer, you get to experience the pleasure of being a part of such a unique and generous day of giving. And, as an added bonus, after Christmas Eve, we send a summary of the deliveries to you via email.
