Atheist and Other Freethinkers (AOF) is a friendly group of people who enjoy getting together to learn new things about science, philosophy, history, etc. Our monthly events are thought-provoking and entertaining, and are open to the public. Most AOF events are held at Reason Center, 1300 Ethan Way, Suite 675, Sacramento.
AOF's mission for the past thirty years has been to promote understanding and acceptance of atheists and freethinkers in our community.
AOF is a proud cosponsor and participant in California Freethought Day, Sacramento Darwin Day, and Sacramento Earth Day. We also work monthly with CalTrans at keeping a stretch of Hwy 99 clean, sponsor monthly film and discussion nights, and help provide meals to the needy.
AOF's mission is to promote understanding and acceptance of atheists and freethinkers in our community.
Funding for: honoraria for our speakers, annual event sponsorship fees, facility rentals, and movie license fees for our film and discussion nights.
