All About Equine Animal Rescue, Inc. (AAE) rescues and rehabilitates abused, neglected, abandoned, unwanted, and/or slaughter-bound animals, primarily equines (both wild and domestic); providing animals with food, shelter, care, and handling; and veterinary care, as needed. We utilize a strategic process for matching healthy, rehabilitated animals with compatible, loving, and permanent adoptive homes. We also provide long term care for unadoptable animals.

Greater California German Shepherd Rescue began operations in December of 2007 to serve the needs of the dogs in the Greater Sacramento, Modesto, South Lake Tahoe, and adjacent areas. We work cooperatively with animal shelters, professional trainers, and other rescue groups toward our common goals of saving dogs' lives.
Sierra Wildlife Rescue
Sierra Wildlife Rescue's purpose is the preservation of El Dorado County's wildlife. SWR seeks to achieve this in two ways. First, we rehabilitate and release to the wild injured and orphaned wild animals. Second, SWR educates the public about living with wildlife and respecting its habitat. Each of these is important to the long-term health and well-being of our area's wildlife.
Sisters Animal Sanctuary
Rescue cats, including feral cats, and provide a place of refuge and protection until loving, permanent homes can be found, and provide a lifetime home for animals that do not get adopted or are unadoptable. We are committed to help those animals that have been abused, abandoned, and generally treated as disposable and forgotten, while maintaining our mission and passion to help stop animal over population by working toward a goal of having no more homeless animals in our community.

Foothill Dog Rescue is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to re-homing dogs from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. Our committed volunteers work with local veterinarians, trainers, groomers, and boarding facilities to prepare our dogs to transition to their well-matched forever homes. Our goal is to reduce the number of healthy, adoptable dogs, whose time has run out at the shelter and place them in loving forever homes.

Our purpose is to assist the Front Street Animal Shelter in achieving their mission of saving the lives of all stray, abandoned and abused animals that come through their doors. We do this by raising private resources to support the many needs, programs and activities required to care for and find loving forever homes for the animals and getting owned animals back home where they belong.
