Who is Chicks in Crisis?
Chicks in Crisis supports pregnant and parenting youth, low-income families, and anyone who walks onto the Ranch needing help. We provide essential items like diapers, wipes, formula, food, clothing, and hygiene products — but it’s so much more than that.
We offer parenting classes, life skills workshops, and emotional support that help families not only survive, but thrive. Our Mobile Unit takes these services directly into underserved communities across Sacramento and beyond. We help keep babies out of foster care. We encourage young parents to stay in school. And we empower families to break generational cycles of poverty.
