Boutin Jones in the Community

Boutin Jones was proud to sponsor and participate in the 17th Annual Steve Boutin Golf Tournament hosted by the King Hall Legal Foundation at Wildhorse Golf Club. It was a great day on the course supporting law students in pursuit of public interest careers, and we’re honored to support an event that helps ensure these students have access to opportunities that make a meaningful impact.

We were proud to sponsor Wellspring Women's Center Taste of Hope this year. Since 1987, Wellspring has provided a welcoming space for women and children in our community, offering respite and critical services grounded in hospitality, dignity, and love.

Inspired by the impact happening on campus at Meristem during its recent board meeting. Under the leadership of Board Chair Donna Courville, the board heard powerful, firsthand stories from CafΓ© students and interns. They shared how their experience working in the cafΓ© has helped them face fear and anxiety, build confidence, and apply those lessons far beyond the workplace and into their daily lives.

Boutin Jones proudly sponsored the 2026 Kentucky Derby Gala hosted by the Jackson Elementary School PTO. This annual event brings together members of the school community to support important programs and initiatives that directly benefit students.

Leadership Sacramento spent the day exploring the region’s vibrant nonprofit community during Nonprofit Day. The class gained an in-depth look at the impact and innovation driving local organizations.

We were honored to sponsor and attend the 60th Anniversary Gala hosted by PRIDE Industries at its Roseville headquarters, celebrating six decades of inclusion and impact.

We were proud to see both Donna Ripple Courville and her husband, Brian, and Steve Boutin and his wife, Linda, featured in the Sacramento Region Community Foundation’s Donor Stories, highlighting the Boutins’ decades-long commitment to investing locally through their family fund and the Courville King Family Fund’s thoughtful, flexible approach to growing their impact across the Sacramento region. Members of our firm volunteered at Happy Tails Pet Sanctuary, spending time cleaning and organizing the facility, feeding the cats, and, of course, providing plenty of attention and affection to some very appreciative feline residents.

Our firm was honored to sponsor Sacramento CASA’s Night Out West Crab Dinner over the weekend, the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year, benefiting children in foster care.

Thanks to the generosity of our colleagues, we raised more than $1,300 in monetary donations and collected a total of 1,052 pairs of socks, all donated to Sacramento Loaves & Fishes to help provide warmth and comfort during the coldest months of the year.

Boutin Jones was proud to sponsor β€œAre You Smarter Than a Breakthrough Student?”, a spirited fundraising event benefiting Breakthrough Sacramento, held at the SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity.

We were proud to serve as a sponsor of the 2025 Philanthropy Summit, hosted by the Sacramento Region Community Foundation at the Hilton Sacramento Arden West.
