Since 1974, Granite Wellness Centers has evolved and expanded to address community needs; we are now a nonprofit serving 4,000 clients and their families each month with comprehensive services to prevent and address substance use disorders and related behavioral health issues. We serve Placer and Nevada County with service sites in Truckee, Grass Valley, Auburn, Lincoln, and Roseville.
Granite Wellness Centers embraces a whole-person approach in treating substance use disorders and associated behavioral issues with a primary focus on the family system. This holistic approach to recovery and wellness means offering our clients a full range of services to support complete and enduring recovery. GWC provides an array of integrated, individual, and family-centered services to address substance use disorders and related behavioral health issues, focused on outcomes of long-term individual and family recovery, contributive citizenship, and family functioning.

The mission of Granite Wellness Centers Foundation is to ensure resources to support Granite Wellness Centers and its goal to provide recovery and wellness programs to support individuals and families to build safe and strong communities and promote wellness and quality of life.
Granite Wellness Centers Foundation has identified unrestricted funding as a main priority. Funds will be directed towards most critical areas of need, such as the following:

* Adolescent programs
* Residential programs
* Recovery Residence programs
