Co-Founder Chrishana Fields was a teenage mother who successfully navigated the difficult waters of raising a child, finishing her education, and not just seeking gainful employment, but also preparing herself for a career.  Co-Founder Sheldon Fields, a Sacramento native and retired firefighter, has lived a life of service mentoring through programs such as Junior Fire Setters, LINKS Mentoring, and the California Youth Authority.

Together Chrishana and Sheldon encountered areas in which underserved youth could be assisted to achieve successful outcomes into adulthood.  As a result, Dreamer 2 Dream was formed to help provide that assistance.  Three family generations -- the mother of Sheldon Fields, husband and wife duo Chrishana and Sheldon Fields, along with their now adult children -- have come together to give back to Sacramento area youth.  We at Dreamer 2 Dream believe with exposure, preparation, opportunity, and perseverance success is truly possible for all.

Mission

At Dreamer 2 Dream, our mission is to empower young people to unlock their full potential through comprehensive youth development strategies. We are committed to fostering leadership, personal growth, and career success by providing:

• Personalized Mentoring: Creating supportive relationships that guide youth in discovering their strengths and aspirations.

• Strategic Career Planning: Helping teens explore career pathways, research opportunities, and develop actionable goals.

• Leadership Development: Engaging youth in programs that build competence, confidence, connection, character, and caring.

• Employment Services: Supporting young adults in navigating educational and professional opportunities that align with their unique talents.

• ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE

Monetary donations or contributions of Christmas toys, bicycles, meals, and raffle prizes are needed to help bring joy to children during the holiday season.

• CAREER EXPLORATION PROGRAMS

Monetary donations and school supplies are needed to empower youth as they explore and prepare for careers in Firefighting, Culinary Arts, and entrepreneurship through Barbering and Cosmetology.

• GAMES OF LIFE PROGRAM

Monetary donations and/or prize donations to help youth builds skills in math, memory, sportsmanship, and strategic thinking through Chess and John Madden Football video games.

• MONEY 101 PROGRAM

Monetary donations and office supplies are needed to provide youth with essential financial education, including budgeting, banking, and money management skills that prepare them for lifelong success.

Your generosity will make a meaningful impact on the lives of the youth we serve.

At Dreamer 2 Dream, we are committed to fostering a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of our work. We believe that every young person deserves equal access to opportunities for success, regardless of their background, identity, or circumstances.
