$2,030 Goal

Active 20-30 is a non-profit organization that provides adults between the ages of 20 and 39 with an opportunity for personal growth, friendships, and leadership development while improving the quality of life for the special needs of children in our communities. Active 20-30 members come from all professions and walks of life. Our organization differs from many service organizations because we not only raise money for children's charities but also encourage 'hands on' interaction. This active participation serves to solidify our relationships with those we serve, maintains motivation, and produces a degree of personal satisfaction.

Giving Activity

Mission

Providing young adults an opportunity for personal growth, friendships, and leadership development while improving the quality of life for the underserved children in our community.

Needs

1. Annual Back-to-School Shopping Spree:

This event provides underserved children in our community with school supplies, new clothes, and new shoes that can help give them confidence at school. Children enjoy a hot breakfast, fun activities, and haircuts to make them feel special and create a memorable experience.

2. Scholarship Program:

Help us award scholarships to local high school seniors who are active in giving back our community. These scholarships help recipients achieve their education goals.

3. Holiday Magic Program:

Gift happiness and joy through our Holiday Magic program! Santa delivers gifts on Christmas to local children in need during our annual Holiday Magic event. Many of these children wouldn't have anything to open on Christmas if it wasn't for a little "holiday magic" to bring smiles to their faces.

We look for volunteers from our membership to help with hands on projects in the community. Be it building playgrounds for children or collecting sports equipment and having a sports day with children from a shelter/foster program.

Equity Statement

Active 20-30 is a 100% volunteer based international service organization, made up of men and women in their 20's and 30's who have a passion for improving the lives of children in their communities.
