During the Sacramento Region Community Foundation's Big Day of Giving on Thursday, May 1, 2025, nonprofits in El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo counties raised over $13.8 million dollars, bringing the total generated since the inception of this annual giving day to more than $117 million!*
Donations were received by 855 of the nonprofits involved — the most to ever participate, demonstrating this event’s importance to the capital region’s social sector. Donors helped participating nonprofits secure more than $1 million in matches and, thanks to lead sponsor Western Health Advantage, received over $100,000 in prizes throughout the day! We are grateful to all of this year's sponsors.
