The Mother Teresa Maternity Home is a drug and alcohol-free, a non-denominational residential facility for pregnant women in crisis. All residents must be 18 years old, or legally emancipated.

Our residents come to us from a variety of backgrounds; some are homeless, some are leaving abusive relationships, and some have drug or alcohol abuse issues. All are seeking stability while navigating their pregnancy and preparing for the birth of their child. Mother Teresa Maternity Home provides that stability, as well as mentorship and aid. Our staff connects our residents with medical care, mental health counseling, sobriety support, and other opportunities while maintaining a calm, clean and serene residential life for each woman.

Mission

Mother Teresa Maternity Home provides a temporary residence, in a safe environment, for pregnant women in need; to help them complete their pregnancy in safety and comfort; to assist them with referrals to existing community services and agencies; to encourage communication with families.

The Mother Teresa Maternity Home needs help from our community.

Needs

Our daily operational costs are increasing and we need community support to continue our mission. Donated funds go to operational costs of the home including maintenance and standard upkeep, food, shelter, and supplies for our residents, as well as salaries for our 24/7 staff.

Equity Statement

Pregnant women in a variety of situations turn to the Mother Teresa Maternity Home for help. Our program is intended to support you as you nurture your pregnancy. We can connect you with a variety of local services while also providing a stable, safe, sober living environment.
