For over 25 years, Children’s Hope Foster Family Agency has been a beacon of stability and hope for more than 7,000 foster youth across Northern California. Every child deserves a safe, loving home and a future filled with possibility. That’s why we work tirelessly to provide resource parents, foster children, and transition-age youth with compassionate care, unwavering support, and life-changing services that help them heal, grow, and thrive.

As a state-licensed 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Children’s Hope is regulated by the Community Care Licensing Division of the California State Department of Social Services and proudly holds national accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). This recognition reflects our commitment to excellence in child welfare and public social services.

With a network of certified resource homes and dedicated professionals, we provide essential services across 23 counties in Northern California, ensuring children in crisis have access to stable, nurturing environments. But we can’t do this alone.

🎯 Leaps & Bounds Program – $15,000 Goal

Empower foster youth by funding extracurricular activities that promote confidence, social development, and lifelong skills. Your support will help cover:

✅ Sports Program Fees (team registration, equipment, uniforms)

✅ S.T.E.M. Program Access (technology camps, robotics clubs, coding classes)

✅ Music & Arts Lessons (dance, martial arts, instrumental lessons)

✅ Summer Camps (leadership, outdoor adventure, and social skill-building camps)

✅ Full-Coverage Sponsorships – Reduce financial barriers so every foster child can participate

🏠 Transitional Housing Program (THP) – $10,000 Goal

Help foster youth transition to independent living by providing essential household items for their first home. Your support will help provide:

✅ Housing Supplies (kitchenware, cleaning products, hygiene essentials)

✅ Furniture & Mattresses (beds, sofas, tables, chairs)

✅ Bedding & Linens (sheets, blankets, towels, pillows)

✅ Home Essentials & Decor (to create a warm and welcoming environment)

🚐 Braces for Foster Youth – $35,000 Goal

We aim to cover the orthodontist cost for braces for all foster children and youth in our agency who want braces:

✅ According to the National Institutes of Health, around 4 million kids in the US under the age of 18 have braces. This number, however, doesn't even take into account the number of kids that need them but aren't able to afford them

✅ Braces can range anywhere from $3,000 to $10,000, with the average cost between $5K - $6K

✅ For kids in the foster care system, the cost of braces are too much for foster parents to afford
